MES in the Gdańsk Refinery. Yesterday. Today. The Day After?
This video is a return to the roots, but also a look at the present. We examine how MES has evolved and how processes, decision-making, and team communication have changed. We also explore the benefits this transformation brings today, not only in figures and reports, but above all in the daily functioning of the facility.
It can be said outright that this change has been a success. Behind it stood a clearly defined vision, concrete goals, and consistent execution. But that was not all. The most important role was played by the team – people who translated that vision into practice. Partnership, cooperation, mutual trust, and commitment – all this ensured that MES did not just remain an “innovative IT project,” but became an integral part of daily work.
Today, the employees proudly call themselves “MES people”. For them, MES is a predictable and stable support – a single source of knowledge that organizes data, supports decision-making, and allows them to focus on what is really important. Because in this story, the system works for people, not people for the system.
What did this journey look like “yesterday”? How does MES work “today”? And what opportunities does it open up for the future – not only for “tomorrow”, but also for “the day after”? This is a story of a mature transformation that does not end with implementation, but continues to live, thrive, and deliver real value.
